Marguerite M. (Barsell) Wallace, 98 of Reading, formerly of Melrose died at home Tuesday evening, November 29, 2005. Mrs. Wallace was born in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Louis A. Barsell and Emma E. (Rapsilber) Barsell.
Mrs. Wallace was raised in Boston and moved to Melrose at the age of 18. She was a co-owner of Chipman Shade in Wakefield for over 40 years.She was an active Line Dancer until the age of 90. She and her late husband owned and operated the Rainbow Pines Cottages in West Dennis.
Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late Clarke Wallace. Loving and devoted mother of Clarke Wallace, Jr. and his wife, Frances of Washington, UT, Louise M. Russell and her late husband David of Reading, Janice L. Zaboly of Stoneham and the late Ralph E. Wallace and his wife Loretta Wallace of Wakefield. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Forestdale Cemetery, Malden, MA.
