Mrs. Marie (Brancato) LaBua, 98 of Amesbury, MA died Thursday evening October 21, 2004 at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody after a brief illness. Marie was born September 1, 1906 in New York City, NY daughter of the late Margaret (Billera) and Anthony Brancato. Mrs. LaBua was a former long time resident of West Haven, CT before moving to Massachusetts 10 years ago to live with her son Dr. LeonardA. LaBua. Marie was the wife of the late Joseph P. LaBua and the mother of Dr. Leonard A. LaBua and his wife, Alyce of Amesbury and the late Anthony P. LaBua. Marie is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A private funeral for the family will be held Saturday October 23, 2004.
Entombment will be held in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Mausoleum, WestHaven, CT. Arrangements by Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose, MA.
