She was born in Malden January 1, 1928, daughter to Warren Gerade and Pearl (Gibson) Gerade.
Marjorie was raised in Malden and Melrose.She and her late husband, Edward were members of the New England Wood Carvers' Association.She taught wood carving classes and made several carvings.Marjorie loved gardening, sewing arts and crafts.
Marjorie was the beloved wife of the lateEdward H. Benard.Loving mother of Linda L. Wardand her husbandRobert W. of Andover, Edward R. Benard and his wife Janet L. of Wilmington, Greg S. Benard and his fianc?e Lori T. Colella of Somerville, and Julie E. Trickett and her husband Michael of Malden.Devoted sister of Warren Gerade of Wakefield,Paul Gerade of Wilmington, and the late William Gerade. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
