Marjorie L. Chaffee
Mrs. Chaffee was a 57 year resident of Melrose.She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Melrose and its Semi-circle.She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile.She had volunteered for 32 years at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and was past president of the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Auxilary.
Marjorie is the wife of the late Herbert G. "Bud" Chaffee, Jr. Mother of David B. Chaffee and
his wife JoAnn and Margaret E. Malenchini and her husband Peter, all of Melrose.
Sister of Jane Kiernan of NC, William Ziegler of MD,Helen Palsen, Amy
Geyssens and Elizabeth "Betsy" Bradt all of NY.Grandmother of Michael
Chaffee, Alissa Malenchini, Scott Chaffee and Jennifer Malenchini, all of
Melrose.Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Robinson
Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Wednesday 4-8 PM.A private funeral
service will be held at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday, May 1, 2003. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.Gifts in
her memory may be made to the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Fund Development
Office, 585 Lebanon St., Melrose, MA02176.
