Mrs. Marjorie S. (Mersereau) Harding, a longtime Malden resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her home with her family at her bedside.She was 80 years old.Mrs. Harding was born on December 15, 1929 in Malden, a daughter of the late Elwood C. Mersereau and Eliza (Spencer) Mersereau.She was raised and educated in Everett where she graduated from Whidden Hospital School of Nursing.She worked at the office of Dr. George W. Richardson in Everett as a nurse and at Whidden Hospital as the head of maternity.She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and spending summers in Alton Bay, NH.Marjorie always maintained family as the number one priority in her life.
Mrs. Harding was the beloved wife of the late Albert E. Harding who passed away on January 12, 2010.Devoted mother of the late Robert B. Harding and Diane E. Harding.Dear sister of the late Ruth A. Clarke and Elwood R. "Al" Mersereau.Loving aunt of Donna H. West of Lexington, Ted W. Clarke of Malden, Doug E. Clarke of Everett, Margie S. Mersereau of Berwick, ME, John A. Mersereau of Rochester, NH, and Glenn E. Mersereau of Apex, NC.Also lovingly survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
