Martha S. Mead

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late John B. and Eula M. (Karsch) Sheller. Mrs. Mead was a resident of Melrose for over 47 years. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Lakewood, OH. She received her Bachelors Degree in English from the College of Wooster, Wooster, OH. She then continued on to Boston University where she received her Masters Degree in Education and her Doctoral Degree in Education.
Mrs. Mead was an English teacher at Melrose High School for several years until her retirement in 1989.
Wife of the late Frank C. Mead, Jr. Mother of Frank C. Mead, III and his wife Elaine M. of Melrose. Grandmother of Caitlyn S. Mead and Richard C. Mead both of Melrose.
Visiting hours Monday 4:00-8:00 PM
Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody MA.
