Mary A. List
She was born October 1, 1919 in Exploits Harbour, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia daughter to the late Chesley and Gertrude (Lilley) Milley and moved to the United States at 3 years old. She graduated from Everett High School and has lived in Wakefield for most of her life. She and her husband, Arthur, celebrated 65 years of marriage on her birthday October 1st.
Mrs. List was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Wakefield where she was a member of the Kosmos Club and the Brownettes.She was a member of HONS and the Daughters of the Nile.
Mary was the beloved wife of Arthur C. List. Loving mother of Marilyn L. Howlett and her husband Jack, of Locus Grove, VA, Pauline L. Sullivan and her husband Francis of Salem, NH. and Charles W. List and his wife Joan of Wakefield. Devoted sister of Marjorie Simensen of Wakefield, Arthur Milley of E. Dennis and the late Lloyd Milley. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
