Mrs. Mary E.(Mohan) Sampson Quinn, 86 of Melrose, died at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley on Thursday afternoon, April 14, 2005. Mrs. Quinn was born in Portland, ME, June 27, 1918, daughter of the late Charles L. Mohan and Nora (Kissel) Mohan. Mary was a former resident of Wakefield and was a Melrose resident for the past 30 years. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Melrose and very active with the CYO program. Mary was the wife of the late Thomas F. Quinn and Walter J. Sampson.She was the mother of Eric M. Sampson of Simpsonville, SC, Jonathan W. Sampson of FL, Holly Mosier of Verona, PA, Gretchen E. Horan of Melrose, Kathleen M. Donohue of Tewksbury, Kurt A. Sampson of Amherst, VA and Norah M. Scott of Litchfield, NH.Step mother of Mary Kenney of Lakeville, Dorothy Quinn of Ashland, Barbara Grasso of Harwich and Dennis Quinn of Plymouth. Sister of Philip Mohan of Norwell, Theresa Whitney of Belchertown and the late Leo Mohan and Francis Mohan. Mary is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Tuesday, April 19 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church (corner of Herbert and Myrtle St.) Melrose at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA02472.
