Maureen was born and raised in Stamford, CT, the daughter of the late Maurice and Ann (Keith) Nellegar. Mrs. Dolan was a esident of Wakefield for the past 25 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford, CT class of 1958.She received her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the University of Connecticut in 1962. In 1972 she received her Masters Degree in Physical Education at the University of Connecticut. Mrs. Dolan was a Sales Associate at Sears and Roebuck Department Store at the Square One Mall, Saugusfor 25 years. She previously was a gym teacher in Woodstock, Vermont and was a communicant at St. Joseph's Church, Wakefield.
Maureen was the wife of Peter D. Dolan. Mother of Peter D. Dolan and his wife Margaret of Beverly, Patrick E. Dolan and his fiancee` Karen Goncalves andBrian T. Dolan and Christopher T. Dolan all of Wakefield. Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSEThursday,October 16,at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Wakefield. at10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visitinghours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment will be in St. Alphonse Cemetery,Pittsford, VT.
