Michael A. Barnstead
Michael was born on April 29, 1977, one of two children of the late Karl W. and Pamela J. (Sterling) Barnstead, who survives Michael.He grew up in Melrose, and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball as a child.
A man with a big heart, Michael was who you would call if you needed help.He was always there for his family and friends.
With a passion for cars, Michael worked as a mechanic, and took great joy in a job well done.He also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family.
Warm, kind, and helpful, Michael will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Michael was the beloved son of the late Karl W. Barnstead and his surviving wife Pamela of Swampscott. Caring brother of Amanda Barnstead of Swampscott.Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in honor of Michael's life during visiting hours at Elks Lodge #1309, 39 Bow St., Beverly, on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6-8pm.
