Michael was born on December 19, 1952 in Boston, one of three sons of the late John J. Hurley, Sr. and Margaret (O'Connell) Hurley.Raised in Everett, Mike attended Everett Schools.He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked as a plumber and pipe fitter for many years.During his leisure time, he loved to go fishing.
Michael was the loving husband of Carolyn (Rice) Leason.Beloved brother of John J. "Jack" Hurley, Jr. of Wakefield and Robert Hurley of Wakefield.Dear stepfather of Holly M. Leason of Melrose, Jennifer A. Leason of Boston and the late Charles F. Leason, IV. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will honor his life privately.
