Michael Miller

Michael Miller, a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Born in Cambridge on January 2, 1964, Michael was the son of Irving Miller and his wife Nancy of Woburn and Marilyn Straight (Miller) and her husband Clark of Lynn. Michael was raised in Melrose.Attended Melrose Schools. He made many friends during those days that he still maintained close contact with all these years later.

Michael could be described as a larger-than-life character, always looking to be the center of attention. He was extremely musically gifted. With a lifelong passion for reading and writing his own music, playing keyboards and with his amazing melodic voice...no karaoke place was safe when he entered. But then he loved to sing for anyone, at any place, at any time.Every place he went was his stage and all around him were his audience.

He was a gentle soul who loved his family with all his heart.Quick to smile, quick to laugh and quicker even with "I love you" to all his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Michael was the oldest of four children and cherished brother to Lisa Keegan (Miller) and her husband Thomas of Wakefield and Scott Miller and his fiance Amanda Stanton of Melrose. He is also survived by his daughter Christina Thompson of West Virginia, his son Michael Miller of Kansas as well many nieces and nephews he loved immensely; Kristina Gillis and her husband Shawn of Melrose, Alycia Bickford and her husband Pete of West Virginia, Nick Miller of Wilmington and Sean Reid of Wakefield and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronald Miller of Melrose.
