Miss Mildred L. Baldwin, a life-long resident of Melrose, died April 20, 2003 at the
Epoch Care Center in Melrose.
Born December 12, 1908, in Melrose, MA, daughter of the late Frederick W. and
Mary E. (Pratt) Baldwin.
Miss Baldwin was a life-long resident of Melrose.She was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Melrose.Among her many associations, she was a member
of the Melrose Arts & Crafts, the Melrose Historical Society, Victorian Melrose Society,
the International Old Lace Society, Melrose Chapter #1124 of AARP, New England Folk
Festival Association, the Museum of Fine Arts - Boston, Women's Educational &
Industrial Union, the Beethoven Society, Friends of Melrose Public Library, Melrose
Friends of the Aging and the Beebe School Association.
Sister of Ruth E. Curtis of Acworth, GA and the late Frederick W. and Charles D.
Baldwin.Aunt of Donna C. Rowe and her husband, Col. Alvin G. Roweof Marietta, GA
and Bruce D. Curtis of Sandpoint, Idaho.Great aunt of Rebecca Osbeck of Mesa, AZ and
Richard A. Rowe of Marietta, GA
