Mildred M. Rumberg
Her husband, Roland W. "Roy" Rumberg died September 28, 2002. She is survived by her cousins, Emily Freyberg of Wilmington and Sheryl Horeanopoulis of Princeton and a godchild, Eleanor Evans and her late husband, Robert, of Galesburg, IL. She is predeceased by her cousins, Louise Eldredge and Alice Pyle.
Mildred was born in Jamaica Plain on December 12, 1910 a daughter to the late Ernest and Lottie (Freyberg) Balod and lived in Melrose since 1953. She was a graduate of the Boston Clerical School in Boston.
She worked as a secretary for the John Hancock Insurance Co. for many years before retiring. Mildred was a member of the First Parish in Malden.
