Mrs. Mui Yau Yuan, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 9, 2021.She was 98 years old.

Lydia and Victor celebrated 76 years of loving marriage until Victor's passing in 2016 at the age of 102.In her final years, she was well-cared for by her son YanLong's family. She is survived by her three children: YanGuang Yuan and his wife MeiHua QiYuan, YanLong Yuan and his wife YanMing ZhaoYuan, YanBing Yuan and her husband XiaoBiao Huang, all of Malden, MA.She will be missed dearly by her six grandchildren: Lillian Ngu and her late husband Tung Ngu of Melrose, MA, Andy Yuan and his wife Carmen Kwan of Forest Hills, NY, Annie Tang and her husband Samuel Tang of Medford, MA, Lisa Yuan So and her husband Michael So of Tenafly, NJ, Martin Yuan and his wife Michelle Yuan of Malden, MA, and William Yuan of Malden, MA.She was a dotting great-grandmother to Vincent and his wife Yesenia, Lydia, Annabelle, Olivia, Angelina, Stanley, Hanalei, Alba, Hilo, Max, and Zachary.

Private services with immediate family were held at Robinson Funeral Home in Melrose, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. The extended family will be invited to a memorial service to be held at a later time.
