Mrs. Myra C. (Colpitts) Perry, 90 of Stoneham, a former long-time resident of Melrose, died Tuesday evening, April 5, 2005 at her home in Stoneham. She was born in Pleasant Vale, New Brunswick, Canada June 5, 1914, daughter of the late Robert Snowball Colpitts and Nettie (Mullins) Colpitts. Mrs. Perry came to the United States as a child and graduated from Taunton High School. She and her late husband, Russell shared 63 years of marriage before he died in 2002. She was an Office Manager for Universal Engineering in Boston for over 15 years and she was also long-time active member of the First United Methodist Church, Melrose. Myra was the wife of the late Russell G. Perry and the mother of Sandra L. Perry and her husband David Kneeland of Cohasset and Robert W. Perry of Ft. Salonga, NY. Mrs. Perry is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service at the First United Methodist Church, 645 Main St., Melrose, Friday, April 8 at 11 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Memorials Committee at the Church. Arrangements by Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose, MA.
