Norma L. (Bogar) Carlson, 71
of Lynnfield, died Thursday morning, February 10, 2005 at the Hospice House in Reading.
Mrs. Carlson was born July 9, 1933 in Larnard, KS, daughter of the late Ralph E. Bogar and Keren I. (Smith) Bogar. Mrs. Carlson was a resident of Lynnfield since 1959.She and her husband had shared 52 years of marriage.She was a long-time active member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church. Norma is survived by her husband, Arnold D. Carlson of Lynnfield; 7 children, Keren Hummer and Marica Imbrescia, both of Lynnfield, Peggy Lindquist of Boxford, John Carlson of Underhill Center, VT, Christine Nicholas of Eagle, ID, Eric Carlson of Wakefield and David Carlson of Boise, ID; two brothers, James T. Bogar of Laporte, IN and Ralph E. Bogar of Grand Junction, CO.
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Nathan, Lee, Bethany and Sam Hummer and John Marc Imbrescia and Stefanie Imbrescia, all of Lynnfield, Alyson, Leslie and Sara Lindquist, Benjamin and Eric Carlson, Rachel and Emily Nicholas, Craig, Justin and Paige Carlson and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St., Melrose, Monday, February 14 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose Sunday 1-5 PM. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield, MA.Gifts in her memory may be made to the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church Remembrance Fund, 355 Franklin Street, Melrose, MA 02176 or Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
