Mrs. Olive M. (Merrill) Fanjoy died October 5, 2003 at a local nursing home.
Born October 7, 1920 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Herbert G. and Mary O. (Joy) Merrill.
Mrs. Fanjoy worked as a clerk for American Mutual Insurance Company in Wakefield for several years until her retirment.She had previously worked as a saleswoman for Woolworth's department store.
She was active at the Greenwood Union Church.She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and also a member of Pocahontas of Wakefield.
Wife of the late Chester R. Fanjoy, Sr.Mother of C. Russell Fanjoy, Jr. and his wife Judith, Howard Fanjoy and his wife Janet and Neil Fanjoy and his wife Jane, all of Wakefield and Roy Fanjoy and his wife Paula of Webster, NH.Sister of Bernice Fletcher of Wakefield and the late Ralph Merrill, Roger Merrill and Doris M. Finnelly.Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service at the Greenwood Union Church, corner of Oak and Main Streets, WakefieldThursday Oct. 9, 2003 at10AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Wednesday only 4-8pm.

Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield, MA.
