Patricia Visconti

Patricia Visconti, of Saugus and formerly a longtime resident of Everett, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at age 60.

Patricia, lovingly known to all as "Patty" was born in Everett on September 28, 1956. She was raised and educated in Everett, graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1974 and married Everett native, Ronald Visconti on May 3, 1975. For several years, Patty worked at Boston Edison before returning home to raise her son and daughter.

After caring for her children as they grew up, Patty returned to working life as a salesperson at Sears where she worked for 25 years. With a sociable, easy nature, and genuine concern for customers, Patty made an impact and was not easily forgotten. She put the needs of her clients first from 1986 to 1998 in the hardware department at Sears, and from 1998 to 2012 in the Appliance Department. Patty had a heart of gold, and many customers responded to her kindness by making her the #1 salesperson at the store.

Outside of her working life, Patty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. With great care and pride, she always wanted to make her home a welcoming, and comfortable place. She enjoyed designing and making crafts to decorate the house, and had an Annalee doll for every holiday. Her home was always clean, both inside and out, and adorned with seasonal decorations. Patty loved planning holidays, and designed a Disney themed wedding for her daughter with great care.

For over 20 years, Patty was a longtime collector, and member of the Annalee Doll Society. Every year, she enjoyed summer trips with Ron up to Meredith, New Hampshire near Lake Winnipesaukee at the Annalee Doll Factory store. Patty was also a passionate fan of Elvis, and always treasured her trip to Graceland.

Most of all, Patty centered her life around caring for her family and friends. Once a week, she and Ron looked forward to enjoying dinner out together at a local restaurant. She always wanted her family to be happy and for her life to be remembered with only happiness. With a strong will that kept her upbeat, she was incredibly strong, and through many health challenges maintained an ability to carry on.

Patty was the beloved wife of Ronald Visconti with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Caring daughter of the late Angelo and Rosemarie (DiCicco) Paradiso. Devoted mother of Sharon Visconti of Saugus, and Ronald S. Visconti of Everett. Dear sister of Steven Paradiso of Everett. Cherished grandmother of Bobby and Rebecca Visconti.

Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Patty's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Sunday, July 23 from 2-6pm, and again on Monday at 8:45am before leaving in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 302 Elm St., Everett, for her Graveside Service at 10am. Gifts in memory of Patty may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
