Pauline M. (Anderson) Macdonald
Pauline was born on May 8, 1922, the last remaining of 13 children to the late Ronald H. Anderson and Eva C. (Cook) Anderson.Born and raised in Malden, Pauline graduated from Malden High School and settled in Malden to raise two children.She worked as a dental hygienist at a Malden dentist office for several years before her children were born.She and her husband Francis were lifelong Malden residents.Her interests included gardening, and reading, but being with her family is what she loved most.
Pauline was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. MacDonald with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.Devoted mother of Gary E. MacDonald and his wife Donna of Seabrook, NH, and Lois C. DelNinno and her husband Edward of N. Andover. Dear sister of the late Lillian M. Anderson, Eva Sawyer, George H. Anderson, Jeanne Anderson, Marion Berg, R. Earl Anderson, Roy Anderson, Rex Anderson, Ruth Johnson, Thelma Anderson, Vera Anderson, and Shirley Anderson.Cherished grandmother of Michael MacDonald, Steven MacDonald, Thomas Croft, and Susan Wilson.Loving great-grandmother of Brendan, Ryan, John, and Michael.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Pauline's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Thursday, August 29 from 9-10 AM followed by her Funeral Service celebrated at 10 AM.Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
