Mrs. Pearl D. (White) Rowell-Cunningham of Vernon, VT and formerly of Wakefield died on Wednesday morning May 13, 2009 at Vernon Green Nursing Home following a period of declining health. She was 99 years old.
Pearl was born on June 3, 1909 in Lynn, a daughter of the late Ira P. White and Lena J. (Davison) White.
Mrs. Rowell-Cunningham was born in Lynn and attended Lynn Classical High School.She and her husband, Ralph M. Rowell, moved to Florida in 1971.Following his death, she moved to Wakefield and married her longtime friend, Cyrus T. Cunningham. In 1997, she and Cyrus moved to Vernon, Vermont where they resided in the Vernon Advent Christian Home.Pearl very much enjoyed making her own clothes.
Pearl was the beloved wife of the late Cyrus Cunningham and Ralph Rowell. Mother of Dr. Loring Rowell of Seattle, WA. Step mother of Lucia Wyeth of Albany OR,Philip M. Cunningham and his wife Maureen of Tewksbury and Marvin L. Cunningham and his wife Patricia of Windham, NH.Cherished grandmother of two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
