Phyllis Ann Chetwynd, a longtime resident of Wakefield, died suddenly on July 6, 2010 at her home.She was 64 years old.

Phyllis Ann was born on July 12, 1945 in Winchester, one of seven children of the late Paul C. Chetwynd and Thelma (Hatch) Chetwynd.She was raised in Wakefield and North Reading, graduating from North Reading High School.For 30 years, she worked for Compugraphic Corp. of Reading.For the last 9 years, Phyllis had been a teller at the Greenwood branch of The Savings Bank where she had served as head teller for the last 2 years.

She was the dear sister of Muriel E. Kaloustian of Melrose, Bradford L. Chetwynd and his wife Barbara of Bolton, William E. Chetwynd and his wife Joan of Wakefield, Alice M. Chetwynd of Wakefield, Phillip A. Chetwynd and his wife Sally of Wakefield, and the late Robert C. Chetwynd and his late wife Barbara.Sister-in-law of Sophie M. Chetwynd of Wakefield.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, July 10 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 PM.Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
