Mrs. Nickerson was born January 18, 1927 in Brighton, MA daughter of the late Elva M. (Jeffrey) and Malcolm MacDonnell.
Mrs. Nickerson was raised and educated in Nova Scotia until going to Maine for High School.Mrs. Nickerson came to the United States when she was 19 years old and has lived in Saugus since 1976.Phyllis, a homemaker enjoyed gardening and dogs.
Wife of the late Donald H. Nickerson.Mother of Gary M. Nickerson of Woburn, Linda M. McFaun of Melrose and the late Donald "Wayne" Nickerson.Sister of Jean Goreham,Ruth Stoddard, Malcolm MacDonnell, Jack MacDonnell all of Canada and the late Ralph andEric MacDonnell.Grandmother of Jason McFaun, Michelle McFaun and Sarah Nickerson.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose Friday June 18 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody.
