Richard G. Haffty
Born in Worcester, Richard was the son of George and Eliza Haffty.He grew up in Worcester and later moved to Holden.He attended UMass and graduated from Clark University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.He worked as an accountant at several different business and colleges.He enjoyed his work and made numerous lifelong friends.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his beloved Nancy, telling a good joke, watching the Patriots and Red Sox, doing crossword puzzles, and always enjoyed a good meal.He also loved collecting watches.
His warmth, kind way, and friendly nature will be missed by all.
Richard was the beloved Husband of Nancy A. (Milligan) Haffty with whom he shared 6 years of marriage.He is also survived by an uncle and numerous cousins.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor of Richard's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 5-7 PM.Masks are kindly requested.Funeral services will remain private.Interment at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
