Mr. Richard C. Lord of Stoneham, formerly of Malden died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Mr. Lord was born in Old Town, ME on September 22, 1924, son of the late Lesley R. Lord and Edith (Jordan) Lord.
Mr. Lord was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and worked on the Manhattan Project.For many years he worked as a Chemical Engineer for Union Carbide in Charleston, West Virginia and more recently for Badger Corporation in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Lord leaves one brother, Moses S. Lord of Portland, ME. Funeral services were private. Interment was in Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town, ME. Arrangements by Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose, MA
