Rita Simien
Rita was born on February 25, 1932 in Lawtell, Lousiana, a daughter of the late Ernest and Alma Simien. Rita was a warm, caring woman who was well loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Veronica Ann Chambers of Melrose.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in honor and remembrance of Rita's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 9-10:15am, before leaving in procession to St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose for her Funeral Mass celebrated at 11am. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
