Roberta F. "Bobbie" (Johnson) Boucher

Roberta F. “Bobbie” (Johnson) Boucher of Ware, passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 30, 2024.  She was 73. Born on February 22, 1950, Bobbie was one of five children of Roberta (Kempton) Johnson and the late Russell Johnson.

Growing up in Melrose, Bobbie graduated from Melrose High School.  She moved away for several years, eventually finding her way back to Massachusetts, to be closer to her family.  She found her forever home on Beaver Lake.

Bobbie worked for many years at various restaurants.  She made a change to banking for several years before finding herself back in the restaurant business, but as a bookkeeper at Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield, MA.

Bobbie was a force, whether independently working on projects or organizing family get-togethers, she was in charge and loving every minute of it.  She was the glue, and all who knew her will be deeply affected by her passing.

Bobbie was the beloved wife of the late Dennis P. Boucher, and former wife of the late Robert G. Carroll.  Devoted mother of Kim Davis and her husband Ben of Ludlow, Eric Carroll and his fiancée Tammy Hobbs of Windsor, CT.  Loving step-mother to Steve Boucher of Franklin, Jeff Boucher and his wife Brianne of Burlington, Lindsay LaCosse and her husband Todd of Willington, CT, Tom Boucher and his wife Brittany of Billerica.  Dear sister of Lynn Walker and her husband Robert of Wakefield, Pam Roberto and her husband Steve of Stoneham, Matt Johnson and his wife Sherri of Rhode Island, the late Russell Johnson, Jr., and his wife Jane of Wakefield, the late Carol Stevens and her late husband David of New Hampshire, Martha & Dirk Thomas of Peabody.  Sister-in-law of Carol Gentile and her husband Bob of Ware, and the late Ronnie Boucher. Grandmother to 12 beautiful grandchildren.  Fun-loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Tuesday, Feb 6 from 4-7pm, and again on Wednesday for her Funeral Service celebrated at 10am.
