Roy H. Larsen, 83 of Melrose, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 after a long illness in the E. N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA. Mr. Larsen was born in Everett, September 1, 1921, son of the late Olaf and Agnes (Westgard) Larsen. Mr. Larsen was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. He and his late wife, Doreen, had shared over 59 years of marriage. For many years he worked as a machinist for Anderson Power Products in Brighton. Roy served in the United States Army during WWII as a Medic. He was a member of the VFW Post in Malden. Roy was the husband of the late Doreen W. (Vaughan) Larsen and the father of Kenneth R. Larsen and his wife, Vera of Melrose and Karen A. Lamson and her husband William of Wakefield. Brother of the late Edgar C. Larsen. Grandfather of Melanie A. Larsen and Christopher K. Larsen, both of Melrose and William J. Lamson II and Eric R. Lamson, both of Wakefield. Funeral Service at the Green Street Baptist Church, 179 Green St., Melrose Monday June 13 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Sunday 3-5 PM. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose,
