Ruth S. Kaltenbach
died Friday morning January 2, 2004 atthe Daniel's House Nursing Home, Reading, MA.She was born in Westtown, PA, daughter of the late E. Dean Stanton and Esther (Fawcett) Stanton.
Ruth was a life long resident of Chester County, PA before moving to Reading, MA. Ruth received her Bachelor's Degree in Math from the University of Pennsylvania.She was co-owner of Heart's Content and also of The Trees Nursery in Lyndell, PA.Ruth served on the Board of Directors of the Coastal Workshop in Maine and was a birthright member of the Religious Society of Friends and a member of the Midcoast Meeting of Friends in Damariscotta, ME.
Ruth was wife of the late John Kaltenbach.Mother of Faith Kaltenbach, Mary Nordhaus, Bart Kaltenbach and Mark Kaltenbach, all of New Mexico, Sarah Fairbank of Port Townsend, WA, Rachel Baumgartner of Reading, MA, Patience Kaltenbach of Birdsboro, PA and the late Andrew Kaltenbach.Sister of Dean Stanton of FL and the late Katherine Stratton, Jane Cope and Sidney Rupp.Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE,Thursday, January 8, 2004 at 1PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
