Mrs. Ruth B. (Mulley) Lindsay, 89 of Malden, died Friday morning, April 27, 2007, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Lindsay was born June 14, 1917 daughter of the late John Mulley and Hettie (Sellars) Mulley.
Ruth was born in Chelsea and raised in Revere. She attended Revere public schools and graduated from Revere High School.For 20 years, she worked in the Juvenile Department in the Malden Court House and retired at the age of 77.Mrs. Lindsay was a pianist and organist.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stoneham and a former long time member of the Parkway Assembly of God in Revere.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Lindsay.Loving and caring mother of Reverend Dr. John A. Lindsay and his wife, Susan C. of E. Brookfield, Judith R. Della Barba and her husband, Richard A. of Hanover, Janet E. French and her husband, Reverend John E. French of Stoneham and James G. Lindsay and his wife, Sarah H. of Fountain Inn, SC.Dear sister of Olive Nemcovich of Sunapee, NH, Ralph Mulley of Jacksonville, FL, Winnie Mercer of Saugus and the late Jack Mulley, George Mulley and Bernice Lindstrom. Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
