Mr. Scott D. "Chico" DeRosa died suddenly November 12, 2005 at his residence in Melrose. He was 42 years old. Scott was a life long resident of Melrose graduating from Melrose High School.He attended Bunker Hill Community College and Wentworth Institute.He was a member of Local 3 Brick Masons Union. He leaves his wife, Janice "JJ" (Freni) DeRosa; his parents, Judy A. (Hoey) and Raymond L. DeRosa of Melrose; his daughter, Keri L. Johnson of Melrose; his sisters, Kim M. Eustis and her husband Scott and Zina M. Clark and her husband Jim, all of Lawrence. Grandfather of Meghan Smith and Brian Johnson, both of Melrose. Uncle and godfather of Nicole DeRosa of Melrose.
