Susan was born October 12, 1936 in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the late Ralph Svarson and Claire R. (Gerlach) Svarson.
Mrs. Kelleher emigrated from Germany to Brooklyn, New York in 1947.She moved with her family to Lawrence, Massachusetts where she graduated from Lawrence High School.She continued her education at Boston University and graduated in 1957. She and her husband, Daniel, then moved to Melrose where she became an active member of the community.She was a former member of the City of Melrose Board of Alderman, a Chairman of the Charter Advisory Committee, the Melrose School Committee and served on the P.T.A..In a working career at two Boston based architecture and design firms, Susan held the position of Controller at Ann Beha Associates and Accountant at C.B.T. Architects.
Mrs. Kelleher was the beloved wife of Daniel D. Kelleher with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.Loving mother of Kathryn C. Luzader and her husband Michael of Wallingford, VT and James D. Kelleher and his fiancé Justine Alonzo of Maynard.Cherished grandmother of Adam Luzader and Ben Luzader both of Wallingford, VT.Dear sister-in-law of Phyllis MacIntyre and her husband Donald of S. Yarmouth.Cherished aunt of Carla Dunn and her husband William of Attleboro.Dear great aunt of Tayla Dunn, William Dunn III and Karley Dunn.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. MELROSE, Monday, June 1 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
