Sylvia was born December 8, 1910 in Hyde Park, MA, daughter of the late Charles Larsson and Elizabeth (Archibald) Larsson.
Sylvia was raised in Hyde Park.She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and the Abbott Academy in Andover.Sylvia was a member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church.She was an active supporter of both the Abbott Alumni House and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Sylvia was the wife of the late Rufus L. Briggs, loving mother of Peter L. Briggs and his wife Sandra G. Briggs of Stow.Sister of the lateIsabelle M. Moore.
