Thomas Bowen
Mr. Bowen was born in Castlehaven, County Cork, Ireland, a son of the late James Bowen and Mary (Collins) Bowen.
Tom was raised and educated in Ireland and came to the U.S. in 1947.He was a member of Carpenters Local 67 and worked for T.K. Cavanaugh.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Hanley) Bowen with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.Loving father of Thomas J. Bowen of Melrose, Brendan J. Bowen of Natick, John K. Bowen of Melrose, and Kerry M. Bowen of Melrose.Dear brother of Patrick Bowen of Ireland and the late Margaret Bowen, John Bowen, James Bowen, Catherine Shea, and Eileen Calvey.Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Friday, May 1 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
