Mrs. Valerie (Wilde) LeBlanc, a resident of Peabody, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at age 60.

One of four of the "Wilde Girls," Valerie was born on March 31, 1955 in Everett. Known as Val, she was a graduate of Everett High School and lived in Peabody for many years.Val was passionate about living her life to the fullest. She cherished her husband Kevin, her sisters, extended family members, and her dog, Zoey.

Valerie met Kevin LeBlanc through one of Val's best friends. They were married on September 12, 1987 and shared 28 years of loving devotion to each other.

Val was a hard worker who for the last 15 years worked in various positions for Delta Airlines. Most importantly she had the opportunity to travel as much as she wanted. Her favorite trips were cruises through the Caribbean, but she also enjoyed vacations in Hawaii and throughout Europe to Paris, Germany, and Amsterdam.

In her spare time, Val loved doing arts and crafts projects. She often made bracelets for loved ones and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Above all else, her heart belonged to Kevin.She will be missed but always lovingly remembered by her family and many dear friends.

Valerie was the adored wife of Kevin F. LeBlanc with whom she shared 28 years of marriage. Devoted sister of Paulette Aleo of Everett, Gayle Camp of Gulf Port, MS, and Donna Gillis of Peabody. Loving daughter of the late Valentine H. and Caroline Wilde, and daughter-in-law of Eileen B. LeBlanc of Peabody and the late Richard A. LeBlanc. Cherished sister-in-law of Joan Mallett of Newmarket, NH, Audrey Plavetsky of Malden, Michael LeBlanc of Salem, Eileen Coggins of Londonderry, NH, Kathleen LeBlanc of Malden, and the late Richard "Dickie" LeBlanc. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Valerie's life at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Sunday, November 15 from 2-6pm, and again for her Funeral Service celebrated on Monday at 10am. Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers MA 01923.
