Viola D. Carien
Born December 13,1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, daughter of the late John A. and Signe (Gustafson) Lind. She was a graduate of Everett High School and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Trinity Church for many years. Mrs. Carien was a resident of Concord, NH and previously resided in Melrose for 47 years.
Mrs. Carien was a Registered Nurse where she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital for several years until her retirement.
Wife of the late M. Edward Carien. Mother of Paula Carien Schultz of San Francisco,CA and John L. Carien of Middleton, WI. Sister of Ruth Messer of Concord, NH. Grandmother of David R. Carien of Osaka, Japan.
Funeral Service at Trinity Church, 131 West Emerson St. Melrose, Friday, Feb. 13 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
