Virginia "Ginny" Melanson Mansfield

With heavy hearts we announce the loss of Virginia Marie (Melanson) Mansfield who passed suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at age 57.

Ginny grew up in Charlestown, one of four children of Tom and Collette Melanson of Melrose. She was the wife of James Mansfield, devoted mother of Evan and Cole Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Thomas Melanson and his wife Kathy of Danvers, Patrice Cousineau and her husband Dave of Sanford, Maine, and Suzanne Vogel and her husband Brian of Canton. Ginny was the loving aunt of Katherine, Tom, Michael, Emily, Meghan, Chris and Alex. She was always surrounded by many, many loving friends. She will be greatly and sorely missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose during visiting hours on Wednesday, March 13 from 10-12pm, followed by a Celebration of her Life at 12:00pm.
