Mr. Wallace F. Webber age 97 and a 55 year resident of Melrose diedTuesday morningMarch 22, 2005 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Wallace was born January 30, 1908 in Harbor Grace, Newfoundland, Canada. He was raised and educated in Newfoundland and was the retired co-owner of the Gunite Construction Company in Malden for over 30 years. He was a member of the Mount Vernon-Galilean Lodge AF&AM, Malden, the Aleppo Temple Shrine, Wilmington, the Waverly Royal Arch Chapter, Melrose and the Knights Templar, Melrose.Mr. Webber was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church, Melrose.Wallace was the husband of the late Doris M. (Hiscock) Webber.Father of Wayne G. Webber and his wife Diana of Reading and Paul D. Webber and his wife Betsy of Rochester, NH.He was the brother of Lillian Wicks of Sarnia, Ontario, CN.He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Funeral Service at the First United Methodist Church, 645 Main Street, Melrose Tuesday March 29 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Monday 5-7 PM. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Church.Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA.
