Walter J. Terry
Mr. Terry was born in Winthrop, April 6, 1923, son of the late Walter J. Terry and Mary E. (Gavin) Terry.
Walter was born and raised in Winthrop and graduated from the Boston Trade School. He served in the US Air Force from 1943 - 1946 during WWII. Mr. Terry worked for American Airlines for 40 years. He was a life member of Pleasant Park Yacht Club in Winthrop and he loved to golf.
Walter was beloved husband of 60 years to Ruth (Iversen) Terry. Loving father of Marie Baumgartner and her husband, John of Amesbury and the late Paul Terry. Dear brother of Lucille Griffin of FL and the late Mary E. "Betty" Kneeland.Cherished "Grampa" of Charris and Caitlyn Spadafora and their parents, Michelle and Rob Spadafora all of Amesbury. Brother in law of Willard C. Iversen of Wakefield. Walter is remembered by Connie Baumgartner of Amesbury.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
