William F. Hanson

William F. "Bill" Hanson, a resident of Melrose, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, at age 77.

William was born in Revere on November 21, 1946, one of two sons of the late Francis Hanson and Julia (Norton) Hanson. He was raised in Everett and worked in security for many years.

Bill was a humble, quiet man with a genuine, good heart. He lived a quiet life, but was a true friend. He will be missed but lovingly remembered.

Bill was the brother of the late Edward Hanson and his surviving wife Joanne Hanson of Everett. Dear friend of Carmine Solimini of Melrose.
